The company then planned to resume production on June 6, 2022, after fully addressing the issue.

Dissimilar to the production halt in May 2022, it remains uncertain whether the current production stoppage in June 2023 affects all motorcycles produced at the York, Pennsylvania plant. In 2022, the brake hose issue solely impacted Harley's internal combustion motorcycles at the York and Menomonee Falls plants. Notably, the production of LiveWire electric motorcycles at the York plant remained unaffected by that specific issue.

The current production halt is expected to be significantly shorter compared to the one experienced in May 2022. If all goes according to plan, only five calendar days will have transpired without the production line assembling motorcycles.
